Tate Photography: Richard Mosse By Richard Mosse

Richard Mosse is an Irish conceptual documentary photographer living and working in New York.

The focus of this volume, Broken Spectre, 2018–20, is his most ambitious project to date. Comprising film and photography made over three years spent in the Amazon rainforest it has been described by the Economist as ‘Powerful and urgent – a reminder of art’s ability of shift perceptions.’

The Tate Photography Series is a celebration of photography by artists in the Tate collection, presenting the work of some of the most significant photographers in the world today. Each book features a specially selected sequence of images alongside an introduction and a conversation with or about each photographer’s practice.
