Passage (SIGNED) By Margaret Mitchell

Passage brings together two of Margaret Mitchell's connected bodies of work - Family and In This Place - which span more than 20 years in the lives of her extended family.

In 1994, Margaret Mitchell photographed her sister, Andrea, and her sister’s children, who were living in Raploch in Stirling at the time, an area of severe social deprivation.

In 2016, Mitchell returned to photograph the children, now adults with children of their own.

In Passage, these two pieces of work are presented side by side, exposing the nature of social inequality.
