Exhibitions at Martin Parr Foundation are often programmed two years in advance, and all decisions involve our board of trustees and team of staff.

If you have a photographic body of work that you feel fits within our remit, we are always interested in hearing about new projects. We encourage contributions from photographers and creatives regardless of gender, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief, or socio-economic class.

We may feel that your project would be better suited to other areas of our programme such as talks, workshops, or the book shop. Due to the volume of enquiries and submissions, we are not always able to offer individual feedback on the material sent in.

The Foundation has four volunteer roles available for each exhibition. Volunteer shifts are available on Saturdays and Sundays and involve assisting in the MPF gallery. There are also opportunities to explore the exhibition and MPF library while you are volunteering. If you are interested please contact info@martinparrfoundation.org for more information.

Exhibition Open Call
We held an Exhibition Open Call last year and a project curated by Jacqueline Ennis-Cole was exhibited in early 2022.

Photographic Bursary
Details of the four photographers to receive our 2021 bursary can be seen here. One of the recipients, Kavi Pujara, is exhibiting his completed project at the MPF in autumn 2022.

Photographic Commission
The second instalment of our regular collaboration with the University of Bristol and SPIN (the Secrecy, Power and Ignorance research Network) is now complete. See the original call out here.
