Zanjir By Amak Mahmoodian

Zanjir presents an imagined conversation between photographer and artist Amak Mahmoodian and the Persian princess Taj Saltaneh (1883 - 1936).

Amak Mahmoodian addresses themes of loss and separation from family and homeland, drawing on imagery from King name's collection from the 19th Century held at Golestan archives in Tehran, presented alongside her own photographs of Iran.
