As a part of Martin Parr’s extensive body of work exploring the richness and diversity of the Black Country – Black Country Stories – Martin Parr produced four films; this DVD presents Turkey and Tinsel, commissioned by Multistory.

Turkey and Tinsel follows the journey of Black Country pensioners who celebrate Christmas twice a year. In this film they journey – in mid November – to a hotel in Weston-super-Mare, where they stay for five days from ‘Christmas Eve’ to ‘New Year’s Eve’.
