How do I use my priority access to discounted tickets?

Supporters and Patrons will be emailed on sale dates in advance. Opt in to receive communications when you sign up, or email membership@martinparrfoundation.org with your request.

How do I become a member?

There are 3 easy options: Online, at the gallery or by post:

How do I receive my membership pack?

Your pack will be posted out within a week, or you can collect in person from the gallery (select ‘Collect in person from MPF’ at checkout).

Deliveries outside the UK may take longer.

When can I access my benefits?

You can access most of your benefits straight away. Library visits and tours should be booked in advance. All of your discount codes will be included in the welcome letter and your newsletters.

How do I get access to the library?

The library is accessible one day a week. Members have first opportunity to book an early (10-1pm) or late (2-5pm) slot when dates are announced in your newsletter.

There is no limit to how often members can book a slot, subject to availability. Priority will be given to those who haven’t booked in the previous month.

When are the welcome tours?

Welcome tours are arranged every few months.

How do I renew my membership?

If you made a one-off payment, you can renew online by purchasing a new membership – we’ll match it to your existing account. Alternatively, we can take a payment in person at the gallery or over the phone on 0117 329 3270.

If you signed up by direct debit, you don’t need to do anything – we’ll post out your new membership pack on your renewal date.

How do I upgrade my membership?

Foundation members can now upgrade to our Supporter tier for £90 via our website here.

Your membership will retain its original start/renewal date.

If you originally signed up on a direct debit, your membership will automatically revert to that tier of membership at the start of your next year of membership.

How much is the discount for monthly events?

Supporters and Patrons have first access to an allocation of tickets discounted by 25%.

This discount will be applied to the majority of talks and screenings, but will not normally include workshops.

How many private views are there each year?

There will be 4 or 5 each year.

Full details of each event will be announced in membership newsletters.

How do I get my 10×8″ Martin Parr print?

When you sign up for a Supporter or Patron’s membership you will be asked to provide your address (or that of the membership holder if it is a gift). Your print will be posted out with your membership pack within 2 weeks.

Is there only one print to choose from?

We are only offering one choice of 10×8″ print annually.
There will be a different print selected by Martin for each year for the membership programme.
As prints are not usually available at this price, we hope that this will be an incentive for people to re-join at the end of each year.
