Rhiannon Adam and Jon Tonks each discuss their photographic practice, both of which explore islands of remote British territories.
Jon Tonks’ work spans four areas: St Helena, Ascension Island, Tristan da Cunha and The Falkland Islands. Rhiannon Adam’s work is based on the Pitcairn Islands, a group of four volcanic islands in the southern Pacific Ocean. Each of these isolated areas often involve a long sailing or infrequent flights to reach them.
This event is a part of the MPF ongoing series of free talks, providing a platform for emerging photographers to share and discuss their practice, supported by WEX Photo Video.
