Town To Town – Photographing Britain

Niall McDiarmid discusses his ongoing 7 year portrait project photographing Britain. He began the project in 2011 and has travelled the length and breadth of the UK making portraits of the people he came across:

​​”The country is changing incredibly quickly and I wanted to record those changes through the people I met.”

Niall will talk about developing a visual style, building an audience for his work and sustaining a huge photography project over several years.

Niall’s work will be exhibited at the Martin Parr Foundation from January 31st till May 12th 2018.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A and book signing.
