Martin Parr will give an artist talk at the Foundation on his five most recent photobooks, plus a special preview of his first photobook of 2023, which is due for release in April.

Martin has published 5 books since late 2021 and will share work from each of these projects –

The English, published by Delpire & Co, 2022
Bringing together previously unknown photographs by Henri Cartier-Bresson with the photography of Martin Parr, taken more than 20 years apart in the same region of northern England.

Acropolis Now, published by Setanta Books, 2022
Revisiting photographs originally made during a 1991 trip to the Acropolis in Athens, Greece, before the original prints were damaged by a water leak in 1993 resulting in distorted colours and marks over the images.

Chew Stoke, published by RRB Photobooks, 2022
Showcasing a body of social documentary photography from 1992, for which Martin Parr immersed himself in the rural Somerset village of Chew Stoke, where he spent a year documenting village life for a commission from The Telegraph Magazine.

Deja View, published by Hoxton Mini Press, 2021
Presenting a playful visual conversation between two collections of photographic work, Martin Parr’s archive and The Anonymous Project.

Match Point: Tennis with Martin Parr, published by Phaidon, 2021
Bringing together Martin Parr images from Grand Slam tennis tournaments across the world, from the Australian and French Opens to Wimbledon and the US Open.
